The short version
We collect the minimum needed to run a directory: your account, what you list, and anonymous-by-default usage counts. We don’t sell your data, we don’t run third-party ad trackers, and the ads we show are served by us from our own database.
What we collect
- Account: email, username, and the name/avatar your sign-in provider (Google or GitHub) shares. Authentication is handled by Supabase.
- Content: listings, votes, saves and comments you create. Listings and comments are public by design.
- Usage: view and click counts on listings, and impression counts on ads. These are aggregate numbers used to show makers how their listing performs; we don’t build browsing profiles.
- Newsletter: your email, only after you confirm via the double opt-in link. Every issue has a one-click unsubscribe.
- Page analytics: Vercel Analytics counts page views and referrers for the site as a whole. It sets no cookies, stores no device identifier and anonymises IP addresses, so it can’t follow you between sites or sessions — which is why there is no consent banner on this site to click away.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your personal data.
- Run third-party advertising or cross-site trackers.
- Email you without an explicit opt-in.
Payments
Paid promotions are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers.
Your data, your call
You can delete your comments and unpublished listings yourself. For full account deletion or a copy of your data, contact us and we’ll handle it.
